William Marion Jones, age 60, of Katy, Texas passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018. William was born February 18, 1957 in the town of Angleton, Texas. He is survived in life by his wife of 23 years Paula Jones and their children Bryan Jones, Ryan Jones, JaNise Jones, Brittney Redd, James Jones, Brandon Browning and Briana Powell as well as 13 grandchildren that he loved with every ounce of his being. William is also survived by his mother Audrey Jones of West Columbia, Texas as well as his two sisters, Mary Goldsmith and Hazel Baker and two brothers Aubrey Jones and David Jones.

Williams legacy in the Houston area through his work can be seen by millions throughout the state of Texas. When you drive down HWY 290, through the Texas Medical Center, The Galleria, Downtown Houston, South Houston, East Houston, Brazoria County, North Houston and The Woodlands as well as the City of Laredo, Texas you can witness his expertise in beautiful roadways, bridges, water, waste water and storm sewer improvement projects that he either managed, estimated, superintended or in some way had an influence on. His passion was building things and being in the outdoors. This was never more evident than through his life on a day to day basis. Whether he was fishing the Galveston Bay, Lake Livingston or just wetting a hook with the grandkids from the bank; or working with his fellow employees to solve problems and build complex projects totaling in the 100's of millions of dollars, he yearned for success and the ability to teach others what he knew. William made a mark on everyone around him and earned the respect of thousands of people from all walks of life.
